We are committed to a standard of excellence few plumbing and HVAC companies can match. Why?
Maybe it’s because John C. Flood is a group of trained professionals providing the finest in plumbing, heating, cooling and electric – with offices in Virginia, Maryland and the District of Columbia to serve you.
Maybe it’s because we’re always just a phone call away and we offer longer service hours at regular service rates 7 days a week. We will quickly send an experienced, highly qualified, clean, neat service technician to your home any time of the day or night. Our computer dispatching capabilities ensure that our fully equipped service vans will be at your door promptly!
Maybe it’s because ALL of our HVAC technicians are NATE (North American Technical Excellence) Certified and continually receive training in the latest advances in the field … and that we have both Master and journeyman plumbers and electricians ready to serve you!
Maybe it’s because we offer exclusive energy saving Management Plans to suit your heating and cooling needs. These plans are designed to save you money throughout the seasons, as well as prevent untimely and costly breakdowns. (All our management plan customers receive priority service, too!)
Or maybe what sets us apart is our unyielding goal to provide the ultimate in total comfort systems for Washington metro area homes and businesses. Whether you’re having new, energy efficient heating or air conditioning equipment installed … need us to fix a leaky faucet … or rewiring your home, we want to be your first and only choice for comfort, service and value.
At John C. Flood, Inc. we are committed to solving your heating, cooling, electrical and plumbing problems, not just selling you a replacement unit.

"I am writing to commend Walter, an electrician who installed two bathroom exhaust vents for us. I have been trying for two weeks to find out what kind of vents the Alexandria inspector wanted and someone to install them. Walter looked over the job and when he came back to do it a day or so later he had the foresight to stop and get a 2nd vent despite arriving at 6: 15pm after a long day. It turns out that it was necessary, since the joist spacing did not allow one vent to service two exhausts. As a result he completed the job in one hour. He also had the presence of mind to have me take photos of the ducts and vents when the ceiling was open to show the inspector. Many times a customer's perception of a company comes from the people who directly service him. Walter definitely delivers on that end. He’s a good face in the field for John C. Flood."
